During the lockdown and being restricted to one place for an extended period seems like a boring routine to someone including me.
So I learned how to kill my boredom by trying something new that it was possible to do during these 2-3 weeks ago. There are some other ways or staycation ideas that can help you get more fun and best for your mental health. A good point is you don’t have to spend too much money on staycation ideas.
Here are some of the best activities that you can enjoy yourself and relax without spending a lot of money or taking a whole week away from work or school.
1. BIKE RIDE
Get on the bike and enjoy the scenery. You will also get physically fit in the process.
2. WATCH A MOVIE
Invite some of your friends over for movie night. Even better, an outdoor cinema! You can set up in your own yard.
3. SEE A SHOW
You can watch some arts at Baan Silapin or join the art class there too. Another interesting place is the Cicada Market ( that will reopen real soon ) where you can listen to live music and watch a good show.
4. Host a Cookout
Invite your friends over for a cookout can be a great way to excite your staycation.
5. GO WATER SPORTS
If you live in Bangkok, Hua Hin beach is not far from your home. Enjoy water activities such as jet ski, paragliding, or riding a kayak.
6. PLAY BADMINTON
You can also play at the nearest park or even around your house.
7. VISIT THE WATERFALL
You can swim, playing water sports or just appreciate the peaceful scenery.
8. LOCAL TOURISM
Visits the museums, parks, or historical landmarks near you.
9.VISIT A FRIEND OR RELATIVE
Take quality time with your friends and your loved one. Go to visit relatives you have not seen for years and that into a vacation.
10.PICNIC IN THE BACKYARD
Invite your friends to have lunch/dinner at your house. You can do it in the backyard setting like a small camp.
