No need to worry if you don’t have a car. Traveling in Hua Hin town is not too difficult anymore.
Once you reach Hua Hin, I think you can notice the 2 rows truck driving around the city. It is one of Hua Hin’s unique in Thai we called “Song-Taew”
The local car provides many routes around the Hua Hin with the same destination center in Hua Hin town. And it is additionally the cheapest transportation in town.
Below are the main routes you should know when you would like to take Song Taew to travel in Hua Hin.
Green-line (Khao Takieb – Hua Hin airport )
Start from Khao Takieb area pass Cicada market, Bluport, Market Village, Chat Chai market ( Night Market ) and if your destination is going further than the night market, you will need to change the car halfway and the last destination in Hua Hin airport.
Price: start at 10-20 Thai Baht per person per way.
Service Hours: 06.00 am – 09.00 pm (weekday ) and 06.00 am – 10.00 pm ( weekend )
Orange-line ( Hua Hin 51 – Hua Hin airport )
Start from Hua Hin 51 drive along Phetkasem road through the clock tower pass Market Village, Chat Chai market, and take you through the back roads all the way to soi 94.
The line goes through Pae Mai market, Bor Fai area, and the last destination in Hua Hin airport as well.

White-Blue line ( Hua Hin Railway Station – Huay Mongkol temple )
Start from in front of the railway station drive to the main Phetkasem road pass Market Village, Bluport, Vana Nava water jungle and then detour to the route of Hua Hin soi 112 ( Soi Hua Na ) drive through Sam Pan Nam floating market and continuing to Huay Mongkol temple and then turns back to the starting point.

These are handy guides for the first time take a songthaew:
- Wait at the side of the road. Make sure you are standing on the correct side of the road according to your destination.
- Wave the hand when you see the songthaew approaching; stretch out your arm clearly so the driver can see.
- Board the songthaew Either sits down on the bench or stand, depending on where you fit.
- Stop the ride Just press the bell button when you want to stop.
- Pay the driver Prepare money and give it to the driver directly at your destination.
