To do self-quarantine is a good way to stop spreading the coronavirus and protect yourself and others. But we know it could lead to pressure, boredom, and going crazy.

Well, we made some suggestions to do while stuck inside that can help you get through this difficult time.

1. Reading
You can read a book or find it online. Apple’s bookstore for both ebooks and audiobooks. It was designed to be simple and accessible across any Apple device.

2. Meditation
Start by dedicating 15 minutes a day to not looking at your phone. Meditation is one practice that you can really improve on with your extra time including the benefits which you will see in your life, you might just want to continue when things get back to normal.

3. Learn a new skill
Take online courses, practice your new skills, or start learning a foreign language. Such as try cooking, plants, crafting, knitting, or even stock trading. There are lots of ways to teach yourself, with blogs, apps, and online courses. It is a great way to improve your skills when you get back to the office. I recommend Coursera which is a cool platform where has a variety of lessons and classes that you can take.

4. Exercise at home
Although we can not go to the gym, we still can do exercise at home by watching YouTube or join an online fitness community. The important thing is that you keep moving, get your blood pumping, and keep your body and your mind balanced equally.

5. Go for a walk or run
Absorbing sunshine and breathing fresh air will help rejuvenate you and make your mind feel better. This is the best thing you can do for your mental health. Please do not forget to avoid close contact with other people.

6. Get organized and deep clean
Decluttering and keeping things clean will clear your mind and allow you to feel more comfortable, and happier. Housework can remove the stress because the goal throughout this time is to make your home enjoyable, not a place you become desperate.

7. Brainstorm activity
For some inspiration, play a board game or build lego with your family or find some classic board games online to join with others or in the App Store to stay energetic and boost your mental energy.
It can build friendships and make you feel closer.

8. Watch a series
There’s a bunch of shows or series that are perfect for Netflix-watching while you’re still home. You can do Netflixparty to watch movies or shows together.
If you prefer to watch Korean or Asian movies, I would like to suggest the other channel VIU, the most up-to-date programs from Asia’s movies.


9. Write a journal
Write about the COVID-19 pandemic. How it impacts on people around the world and make us living in an unusual time. Or if you always wanted to write a book, start writing and share it on your SNS.

10. Get the group together–virtually
You can do a live broadcast on youtube channel to connect with your friends and family. Make a TikTok account ( If you don’t have one just download it ) and ask your friends to do so as well—it’s an enjoyable and easy way to make and share it. Do the video calls to stay in touch to support and hearing each other out. Sharing new insights on what’s really happening. It will increase your relationship between family and friends.

There’s plenty of fun things to do at home during your Coronavirus quarantine. Stay safe, stay balanced, and don’t forget to stay in touch with your loved ones.
